Ray C, I personaly have no experence with this but---- I've been told you have to match the hoe and tractor really good. If the hoe is to powerful it could crack the rearend, when you try to pick up to big a bite. Good luck , KenWV ....

I WOULD DEFINATELY STICK TO A 7 1/2' BACKHOE WITH A SUBFRAME ON AN 850 DEERE. I DON'T THINK YOU HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT BREAKING THE TRACTOR DUE TO THE EXCESS DIGGING FORCE THAT THE BRADCO WOULD HAVE. USUALLY WHAT LIMITS YOUR DIGGING ON A COMPACT TRACTOR IS THE ABILITY TO KEEP THE TRACTOR ANCHORED TO THE GROUND. HOWEVER, I THINK THAT I'D TRY TO KEEP THE EXCESS WEIGHT OF A LARGER BACKHOE FROM WIPING OUT MY REAR AXLE BEARINGS. I HAVE RUN INTO THAT PROBLEM SEVERAL TIMES IN THE PAST. ....
